About me

I studied chemistry in Darmstadt and Würzburg in the 1990s. For my doctoral dissertation, I moved to Bayreuth University to conduct research in the field of photosynthesis. After continuing this work for another three years as a scientist at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysics, I joined a science publisher. Since 2003, I have translated, written and edited scientific work, since 2011 under the company name WORDS4SCIENCE: “words for science.”

I have a diploma degree in chemistry and a doctoral degree in the natural sciences.
I am a state-certified translator for English.
I am member of the Bundesverband der Dolmetscher und Übersetzer Membership logo BDÜ, the professional association of interpreters and translators in Germany.
